Sarah Murdoch selected as Top Global Brand Manager of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA – 10 Jun, 2017 – Sarah Murdoch, Global Marketing Director at Jurlique International, was selected as Top Global Brand Manager of the Year for 2017, by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the field. 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities.  All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With over a decade of professional experience in the Marketing & Branding industry, Sarah has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, she has demonstrated success not only with Jurlique International in a very short period of time, but has also been successful for every company previously worked.  Sarah’s impressive repertoire of past roles include; Brand Manager & Marketing Manager for companies such as DeBeers, L’Oreal, Biotherm, Yves Saint Laurent, and Penfolds.  With these huge companies, Sarah provided exceptional insight in developing strategic brand plans on regional and global scales, supported by exceptional through-the-line marketing material that turned global concepts into tangible activation plans.  She has provided regional markets around the world with marketing materials that are relevant, effective and support the global brand.  Her key responsibilities with Jurlique International include new business development, global marketing, communications of the Jurlique Brand, new creative business ideas and communications with consumers, colleagues and senior executives.

Sarah pursued her interests in Marketing and Branding after graduating from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia with her Bachelor of Business, International Business & Sports Management in 2004.    The President of IAOTP, Stephanie Cirami, stated “Choosing Sarah for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make.  She is talented, bright, and beautiful, motivated and has been a female leader in a very male dominated industry.  We felt she would make an amazing asset to our organization.  We are looking forward to meeting her at the gala and know we will be seeing more amazing things from this woman.”

Sarah remains active in her community and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. In 2014 she was honored for her accomplishments in Marketing by Worldwide Who’s Who. In 2015 named Top Female Professional of the Year and in 2017 selected as Top Global Brand Manager of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals.  She has won a University Blue for Rowing, is active with Alzheimer’s Australia, and she volunteers with Fair Share a charity supporting the homeless.

Looking back, Sarah attributes her success to her training, her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and her passion for seeing business professionals succeed and reach their goals. For the future, she will continue to grow as a professional and continue to help businesses market and brand themselves globally.
